Abstract: Musical high schools in Albania and the Western Balkan region are critical to the preservation of cultural identity, the development of artistic talent, and the preparation of students for global music careers. This research work offers a comprehensive examination of the musical educational systems in Albania, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. It highlights on curriculum analysis and their shared goals of nurturing young musicians while addressing distinct challenges, including funding limitations, resource disparities, and the brain drain phenomenon.
